My Bean. He is Fifteen.
He used to be so cute.
He is still cute.
He used to be so funny.
He is still funny.
Knowing he is 15 is making me blue.
That's not me.
But, I'm still blue.
I love you, Bean!
Happy Birthday!
When I was a little girl, we had a pet monkey named Amanda. My Dad worked in the produce business, so each night he brought home that days culls in a big box - spotty cucumbers, pithy apples, limp celery, moldy oranges and the like. We called it a monkeybox. It was really just trash, but my Mom would take each piece of fruit and trim it, pare it and cut it up to make a beautiful fruit platter for Amanda. Even though it was deemed trash by one, it still had life left in it and was good for the purpose we needed it. That's how I live my life - thrifting, yard saling, looking for another's trash to be my treasure.

Happy Birthday, Bean!
ReplyDeleteGo easy on your mom today. It's hard on us moms when our babies aren't babies anymore.
Happy Birthday, Bean. 15 is a great age. My son will be 23 on the 7th. Time flies whether you are having fun or not! So sorry about your husband's grandmother. You have had a terrible time lately. I am still praying for you!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe he's 15 already--he's still just as cute and photogenic as when he was a baby. :) Hope you had fun at the show and had a good celebration. Happy Birthday, Mr. C! :)
