Click on LOOK INSIDE and then type MONKEY in the search bar. There it is in all it's glory - THE monkey cake. MY monkey cake. "Happy Birthday, Shara." At least they got my name right, I guess. In case you are new here, read about my Wrecktastic Cupcake Birthday cake here. I never thought my name would be in print - with that hideous cake with it. Sigh.
Oh well, maybe I can still see my name in print someday. Like a book that I wrote. Not for my very bad awful monkey cake. *Sigh.*
I missed that post the first time round...it looks like a BIGFOOT CAKE! Well at least something memorable came out of it...you can autograph copies on YOUR page.
ReplyDeleteThanks for my chuckle for the night.
You can now spend the rest of your life trying to get
ReplyDelete"the monkey off your back"!!! It makes me laugh every time I read your blog-it is priceless!
Enjoy the fame!

Shara! Congrats! You are famous! Enjoy the fame! I had an article printed in the New York Times about five years ago, and it thrilled me to see my name on the byline!!! So I totally relate. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! Does the person who decorated the cake know that it is now famous?!
ReplyDeleteI was at a garage sale yesterday looking at old children's books. I got excited when I found one called "Say Hello, Vanessa" because I never find anything with my name on it. I bought the book for 10 cents!
All writers live for seeing their name in print. So what if yours is written in icing. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteOh geez, that cake is funny! It kinda looks like Chewbacca from Star Wars! Congrats on your fame and fortune....they paid you to use that picture, right? If not, congrats on your fame!
