But, first.........
:)
Are you ready? I am done with everything and wracking my brain for more "Christmas-y" things to do until THE BIG DAY. I have shopped, wrapped, sent out cards, baked, make candy, decorated, and watched movies. We have watched a different Christmas movie the last three nights which I have really enjoyed. I don't normally get much say in what we watch on TV but I always want to watch Christmas movies. We watched "Elf", "Santa Claus 2" and "Four Christmases." Tomorrow night is "Christmas with the Kranks" which is my very favorite. Not sure what will make the cut tonight. HO HO HO. The Bean still likes "Jingle All The Way" from his childhood. Oh we did watch "Christmas Vacation" last week too. "Where'w the Tylenol?" My favorite line.
What movies are on you MUST WATCH list?
I love Christmas movies, I have watched Christmas with the Kranks, Christmas in Connecticut, Jingle All The Way, The Holiday, While You Were Sleeping, White Christmas The Santa Clause 1-3, The Bishops Wife, Miracle on 34th St. and I still have a few more to watch. If you weren't so far away, we could watch together.
ReplyDeleteI like your little Santa sitter. It reminds me of this: http://www.bluemountain.com/printable-cards/christmas/the-schmidt-house/card-3170617
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movies is the black & white 1951 version of A Christmas Carol with Alistair Sim.
Merry Christmas! I need to watch white Christmas, holiday inn, Christmas in Connecticut(the old one), and now we need to watch it's a wonderful life, and Christmas eve the old scrooge. Have a wonderful Christmas

I just watched Mike and Molly and your "Santa on the Crapper" was a featured part of the episode! What a coincidence-must be a Christmas Miracle!! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOK, I watched Love Actually on Netflix last night because I'd heard people rave about it. I just didn't get it. Back to It's A Wonderful Life for me :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie is Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. So dang funny!

I love all the old movies - The Bishop's Wife, It's a Wonderful Life, The original Miracle on 34th Street and A Christmas Story. I laughed when I saw Santa in the outhouse because as mentioned it was featured on Mike and Molly. So festive!!! Shara, Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year to you and your family. Thanks so much for doing the blog, it's wonderful and I enjoy it very much.
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are: White Christmas, A Christmas Carol (the 1951 versus with Alastair Sim), A Muppet Christmas Carol, Scrooged, and Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. My newest favorite is Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever. Hi-larious!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you!
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteWe had on Elf last night while we cut out paper snowflakes. It's our favorite! Wishing you a blessed and very Merry Christmas, Shara!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved Home Alone 1 and 2 - something about a grown man screaming like a girl really makes me laugh until I can't breathe (the electrocution scene and the spider scene)!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Our office party theme was A Griswold Christmas. Unfortunately, my manager's cousin Eddie costume wasn't delivered in time - I would have given almost anything to see that : )
