The Breadman is employed and will remain the Breadman once again.
Twelve days unemployed - not too bad in this economy.
One hurdle down......
Now, to get my Mumsie healed and going again.
*My name is Shara Lee and that is what everyone called my my entire childhood and what most family members still call me. I used to get chased around the playground with that "Nobody doesn't like Saralee but nobody likes Sharalee!" taunt. They liked me, but it was too much temptation for a group of kids.
Also, he will be delivering:
Bimbo cake products. I do not have a history with that nickname.
I don't think......
(Keepin' it real over here or I'd go nuts.)
Thanks!
Yay for the Breadman! My daughters first name is Sara so she got called Sara Lee sometimes...kids! Hey I don't know about BIMBO cakes either...really I don't! :)
ReplyDeletehugs, Linda
That's so great for the Breadman and the rest of you!! Sure hope your Mom is feeling better...
ReplyDeleteFINALLY some good news! Well wishes for your mom to heal as quickly as possible. 2013 will be a prosperous year for your family (fingers crossed). So happy to hear.
ReplyDeleteWhen you emailed me about Curtis' job with Sara Lee, I didn't even think about your name! And the Bimbo company always says that it's pronounced "beeembo" but nobody actually calls it that. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is great news! you needed that little boost.

I am really happy for you and your new Breadman although maybe he should be the Bakeryman!
ReplyDeleteNow you can concentrate on your Mom - I'm hoping she making some progress.
Good news about the job! I see the Bimbo trucks delivering around here. You MUST get a company t-shirt.
ReplyDeleteStill praying for you and your Mom. It's a good thing she has you there to be her advocate. Please try to take good care of yourself along the way...
I bought Bimbo bread earlier this week. One more thread in our common denominators. You saw I posted that jingle on FB, and that was before I read your blog. Our ESP is working just fine.
ReplyDeleteThe BREADMAN always Delivers... right?!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you guys! Now YOU don't have to resort to drastic measures ;-)
I have never heard of Bimbo before but I am laughing right now. Little story for you, my son's dad got caught messing around on me when Alex was about a year old. I even knew the girl, yeah, he wasn't very bright. ;) But anyway, to this day, 18 years later we still refer to her at the Bimbo. Let me know if I can get an empty box, just to have for my own evil enjoyment. ;) I know, get over it already, but somethings still make a person laugh, eventually. ;)
ReplyDeleteExcellent!
ReplyDeleteGreat news! I've never heard of Bimbo. For Sara Lee, I always thought the jingle was, "Nobody does it like Sara Lee." You can adapt that one for you. ;-) Congrats to Curtis!
ReplyDeleteYay! The Breadman rides again! Now to get your mama back in the saddle again.
ReplyDeleteSure your mom is on the mend quickly! Buzzed by here and I'm delighted to meet you and I'm your newest follower. So glad Breadman has a new job! My Worker Bee was out of work for a very long time so I think 11 days or so is fantastic!!! Lookin' forward to seeing more of your junk!
ReplyDeleteThere's a Bimbo bakery in the town where I work and I laugh every time I see them advertise. I CHEER every time you have good news, which is not nearly enough these days, but this is an excellent start. And I'm so glad we don't have to go through that whole learning a new nickname thing. Hope your mom is continuing to improve....
