I finally made it out of the house today. Nine days of home bound sickness was beginning to get to me. I made a run to The Super Cheap Thrift. You just never know what you will find there and it's always affordable. Today's best find - a Set of Safety Posters for Primary Grade Bulletin Boards - circa 1957 for 10¢.
My favorite is the "Keep matches out of baby's reach." The seven year old can still reach them, but the baby can't. There are 12 posters in the book and thay are in pristine condition. I'm not sure what I will do with them, but at 10¢, they are keepers, for sure.
A dime well spent.
ReplyDeleteglad you are feeling better and back to the junk! wish I could find you a brown gingham apron. be sure to post if the safety pictures go on your etsy site!
ReplyDeleteThose posters were a fantastic find. Glad you're back and feeling better. Thrift therapy always helps me.
ReplyDeleteWhy can't I find stuff like that... In the winter time, there is only Goodwill to choose from. I can't wait for lawn sales to start.
ReplyDeleteThose safety posters are amazing, thank you for sharing them with us. Also glad to know you're feeling better! Nothing to help cure an illness like thrifting. :)
