Do you have a Sonicare toothbrush? If you don't, then you should. I am currently using the Sonicare Elite toothbrush system as a test for the Sonicare Company. I call it a system because it is much more than a toothbrush. First of all, it is a magnificent Electic Toothbrush that makes my teeth feel incredibly clean. Like "I just left the dentist" clean. And, that's not just a line. It's the truth. It has a regular setting, sensitive setting and a massage setting. It is incredibly relaxing and honestly, it just makes your teeth feel great. I did have to start using it on the sensitive setting for a few days to get ready for the regular setting. Also - Don't put turn it on until it is in your mouth or you, as well as your mirror, will be wearing toothpaste!
The coolest feature of this toothrush system is that it has a UV sanitizer right on the charging base. Did you know that the bacteria in your mouth goes onto your toothbrush, lies there until the next time you brush your teeth then goes back in your mouth and then back onto the toothbrush again? Can you say "Eeeew"? And, if you are sick, you are just re-infecting yourself day by day. I've always found it odd that people keep their toothbrushes together in a cup by the sink. And, just think - how far is your toothbrush from your toliet? Can you say, "Eeeew" again?
The UV sanitizer is really easy to use. You just pull the head off the toothbrush, open a little door and place the head inside. Close the door, press the ON button and it sanitizes itself. I feel better just knowing it is safe and clean to use the next time. The charger is located on the very same base, so it is compact and easy to use. I only have to charge mine about once a week. It also has a nice travel case for those little road trips you might be taking.
If you happen to be in the market for a Soniccare - leave me a comment with your email and I will send you a coupon for $10.00. And, if you own a Sonicare, please leave a comment with your experiences and likes or dislikes.
What is a monkeybox?
When I was a little girl, we had a pet monkey named Amanda. My Dad worked in the produce business, so each night he brought home that days culls in a big box - spotty cucumbers, pithy apples, limp celery, moldy oranges and the like. We called it a monkeybox. It was really just trash, but my Mom would take each piece of fruit and trim it, pare it and cut it up to make a beautiful fruit platter for Amanda. Even though it was deemed trash by one, it still had life left in it and was good for the purpose we needed it. That's how I live my life - thrifting, yard saling, looking for another's trash to be my treasure.

Interesting, Luis and I were talking about getting an electric toothbrush. Does it have the option for more than one brush head so we can share one unit? Thanks for the tip!
