DS went to the doctor yesterday for his two week follow-up on his shoulder. She thought he would be healed, but it still hurts. So she sent him over for X-Rays (not sure why this didn't happen two weeks ago). There isn't a fracture or dislocation, so that is good. She is sending him to a Shoulder Specialist (which I am sure has a more technical name than "Shoulder Specialist") tomorrow at 10:20 for a better diagnosis and an MRI. I think he is healing okay, but just needs a bit more time. But, we'll see......
http://handmadelove.livejournal.com This is the blog for my swap partner for the Red and Aqua swap. She has embroidered a little version of me and I am thrilled and so excited to recieve my nox of goodies. This won't be my last swap.
I'm off for a Parent-Teacher Conference, two hours of volunteering at school then a PTSA meeting tonight. Holy Gaucamole - I'm a "soccer" MOM!
Glad you posted an update on the shoulder. I was going to email and ask you about it.
ReplyDeleteMy friends son THOUGHT he had a shoulder injury from football and had to quit his senior yr. He went through the whole chiropractic/orthopedic mess with no success. He was finally referred to a physical therapist that does soft tissue manipulation. This boys problem was NOT in his shoulder, but in his lower BACK and they are tied together and he didn't get results b/c you couldn't fix one w/o the other. You can look at Dr. Voth's website at

He is in my hometown, but maybe you could find someone that does this type of physical therapy in our area. I hate to see your DS go through a life of pain if someone can help him now.
Please keep my updated.
I'm having so much fun finding goodies for my R & A swap partner. I looked for your link for your partner's blog but couldn't find it.?
