Oh, Baby

For some explicable reason, I keep buying things meant for a baby.  I am not having a baby.  That "Grandma" word will not be in my vocabulary for years.  Yet, when I see something destined for a baby or a child, I must have it.

In the past week I have bought an assortment of squeaky baby toys plus the following:
A Fisher Price TV with GIANT SCREEN as it says on top.  It still works and plays music.  I went to a new to me Goodwill yesterday and found absolutely nothing.  But, on the way out the door, I glanced in the glass case and saw this shoved to the back of the case.  Luckily, it also happened to be half off - so I was happy to have found it.

When I work at the Flea market, I am not often tempted to buy anything because not much of it is my style.  I have the only completely vintage booth in the store, but more and more vintage items are popping up in other booths.  Today, one booth had a clothesline across the back of their booth with the most adorable doll clothes hanging on it.  I would have loved to have grabbed them all, but I limited myself to two pieces.

This tiny little hand knit sweater was too sweet to leave for someone else.

Tiny and pink complete with a wee wire hanger.

What else could you want?

Well, I'll tell you.

How about the absolute sweetest little feed sack dress.

Complete with Rickshaws.

Yup.  Rickshaws.

I loved it at first sight.  Then, when I got it home I discovered the Pièce de résistance.

Are you ready?

Built in undies!

With rickshaws!

See, you would have to have bought it too!

  1. SORRY SHARA... you have an illness... not even 'built-in poop holders with rickshaws' would have me inspired to start on the 'child-thang'!!!! ;-) Cute, but I shall leave all the small-one things for Y.O.U.! (and when The Bean comes home and says "Uhh Mommm...Uhh Daddd..., there's something I've got to tell you..." - it's just going to be ALL.YOUR.FAULT!) <3 !

  2. *LOL* I am always buying baby stuff too. I don't have any kids and am not pregnant. But I just KNOW my future children will want all the stuff I find so I can't help myself.

The sweater is so cute and I am in love with the little dress. OMG IT'S ADORABLE!

  3. Oh I love the dress! I keep hoping there will be another Grand and it will be a girl. I think I still have a few years to wait for the 2nd one but I am enjoying the first Grand and buying him all sorts of fun things. hugs, Linda
