I understand that it is Fall everywhere and everyone has seen colorful trees with their very own eyes this year. But, I can't help but show the trees that I have seen this past week. We had such a long hot summer with no rain for months that the forecast for Autumn color was very bleak. Luckily, just in the nick of time, we had a deluge of rain that made everything spring back to life and brought us the most magnificent colors that I swear I have ever seen.
Last week we got out and drove around just looking for pretty trees. Soon enough if will be cold and we will be home bound, so we took a few days off to enjoy the beauty and the wonderful weather.
The orange trees were spectacular.
The golds are amazing.
The yellows were sublime.
Everything was just beautiful.
Today we had a windy day and so many of the pretty leaves are falling off. Now, the trees aren't so pretty. But, the ground is fabulous!
