It's National Garage Sale Day!

August 14th

is

National Garage Sale Day!

I don't plan on celebrating this monumental today. 

(I do celebrate it the other 364 days of the year though). 

It is far too hot to go to a Garage Sale (105 on the thermometer today). 

It just is not fun to go to Garage Sales right now. 

Boo Hiss.

    I am taking a little junking break after my longest yard sale adventure. Too hot and I have so much stuff to deal with right now! Still it's an addiction I will be back too I'm sure.

    I didn't know that there was a National Garage Sale day. I was out and about even though it was HOT here in East Texas. Everyone else must have known that it was a holiday because all of the sales were packed. Cars were bumper to bumper in front of every sale we went to. Mostly only clothes--everyone's cleaning out closets for back-to-school.
