Friday Finds

Friday Finds?  What Friday Finds?  Weren't you supposed to stay home today, Shara?

Yea, yea, I know.  I said I would be staying home today.  Well, the sun came out instead of it raining plus I spotted a FREE CURB ALERT (entire garage full) on Craigslist near me, so I had to go!  Had to!

Lots of junk.

Free frames from the curb alert and old metal candy display shelf 25¢.

Neat old milk bottle carrier.  I was hoping to fit six half gallon old blue Ball Jars in  it, but they won't quite fit.  I'll think of a use for it.  Free Berry baskets from the Curb Alert.

Miscellaneous items for resell.  'Cept one.  Can you imagine what I am keeping?

Oh!  You guessed!  You know me a bit too well!

Super cool, huh?

As I drove up to the sale I said (okay, shouted) "I SEE A PICNIC BASKET!"   And, I was right.  it was $10.00 which is on the high side of what I like to pay, but once I saw that Patriotic decor I had to have it.

Now, tomorrow.  Tomorrow I will stay home.  Unless I get wind that the darn Super Cheap Thrift is open at long last.  Which if it is, will drive me past a few sales, I am sure.  Oh, it's a vicious fabulous circle!  Don't you agree?

I can't remember the name of that doll, but I know there was one in our house. Just look at is as stock for your booth....one must have plenty for a customer to choose from.

  5. It think her name is Betsy Dressy. She's a new one, not vintage. But, shews a quarter and I thought she would make good booth filler. Great minds think alike!

  6. I love that old milk bottle carrier! I have an old milk crate but now I'll be on the search for a carrier too (no idea what I'd do with it but it's great).

Shara you found some great stuff this weekend!

As for the milk bottle carrier, you can put small terra cotta pots in each compartment and plant herbs in them. That's what I do. It looks nice in your summer garden.
