nooooo! We used to live in Fairbanks, Alaska when i was a kids and a classmate stuck his tongue on the metal flag pole when it was super cold outside. Tt stuck and he pulled off a chunk of his tongue that stuck to the pole. The cool thing to do at recess was to go look at that chunk of tongue. (gross story, but beware!) We also used to go out for recess until it was 20 below zero. We would go to school until it hit 50 below zero. It was cold!
