But wait! Call now and we'll send you....

Saturday I went to The Super Cheap Thrift. All the Halloween items were FREE on Saturday, so I picked up a few old blowmold Trick or Treat pumpkins. But, something told me to go to the thrift that day, even though when I left the house all my errands were the opposite way of the Super Cheap Thrift. But, when I found this item, I knew that was the reason I had veered to the right at the corner and not to the left.

A suh-weet vintage tablecloth with pink clover on it. Sarah found the exact same tablecloth back in July and I admired it then. And now, I have my own! And for only 75¢!

(Photo taken before I washed it and soaked it and washed it again.)

Since I don't have photos of The Bean in a Halloween costume to share, I will share this:

The Bean in a SNUGGIE! hahahahahahahahaha I think Snuggie's are an absolute crack up. It's just a blanket with sleeves which is so funny to me. But, my Grandmother is in a wheelchair and she has problems putting on sweaters and such. So, I think she is the perfect candidate for a Snuggie. She can be warm, but still eat or open her mail or whatever she needs to do.

*Ignore the STUFF in the background. My house always looks junky when I don't properly stage the photos.

**If you have a Snuggie and love your Snuggie - more power to you. I imagine they are warm and all. it's just a very funny concept to me!

This is so funny. Some sort of bad language, but still funny!

  1. I just saw that SNUGGIE commercial again last night on TV and it always cracks me up - the guy in it is Such a doofus! It really looks like a bad 70's commercial from a Sat. Night Live skit!!

  2. OOPS! just watched 'Your' video - I had never seen that one before! The one that shows up here (and that I was talking about) is a family dancing around in them, always pumping their arms in the air - it's 'really!' bad!!

  3. The clover TC is a good one....

I saw on someone's facebook that they have spotted folks OUT IN PUBLIC wearing snuggies. Skeeery.

  4. Very funny! I actually saw a woman wearing one at a marching band competition last weekend. She was sitting alone!

As for the tablecloth, I am jealous! They aren't easy to find anymore. I love a thrift store!

  5. Snuggies are evil and wrong...but can you think of a better white elephant exchange gift for the holidays? OMG, everyone will want the tacky thing. LOL Sea Witch

  6. I think that is probably the prettiest tablecloth I've ever seen! Very jealous. But Snuggies? Even though The Bean looks cute in his, they are wrong on so many levels...

  7. Great tablecloth find and a super price to top it off. Kate got a snuggie for her bday (in pink). I think it is the strangest thing..and now the Bean has one too! I think it was Monday that was declared "National Snuggie Day" (the company that makes them, declared the day). I just know that I AM NOT GOING THERE - no snuggie for me!

  8. Not too long ago in my city, there was a Snuggie pub crawl. A group of people put on Snuggies and went around to a bunch of bars. I am sure much hilarity ensued. The Bean is a good sport for modeling one for your picture!
    Love the tablecloth!

  9. Oh my gosh, a Snuggie pub crawl! That is a stitch!

I about died when we were at Target and walked past a display of Snuggies and Maren stopped and said, "look! Snuggies!!"--uh, this is a child who can't read yet, so how on earth did she know what it was? Methinks she's been watching a bit too much TV.

What REALLY made me roll my eyes was the pattern in the JoAnn's ad for a DIY Snuggie! There was the crochet version (U-G-L-Y) or the fleece version. By the time you bought all the yards of fleece you'd need + the pattern, it would be cheaper to just buy one ready made!

That tablecloth is classic! Aren't you glad you headed over to Super Cheap Thrift Today?

Snuggies are right down there with the other seasonal 'gifts': The Clapper and Chia Pets(altho' I did like the Albert Einstein Chia Head - it appealed to my goofball sense of humor!).
