Today it is 70 degrees here. And Friday? An ice storm. Yay! (Not) So, I am headed out for provisions in shorts. Not really, but it's the craziest darn weather! The "Breadman" will be working like a crazy man getting ready for it. Good score on the Pyrex, even though I don't buy it. Well, if I ever saw it, I would buy it and sell it lickety split! :)Sharahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10913201824588109760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15117059.post-60084759230800902862017-01-09T21:22:36.048-06:002017-01-09T21:22:36.048-06:00Happy New Year! We get snow but it's rare so it's an event around here and the grocery stores get stripped of milk, bread, beer, etc. I shopped a couple of days before the snow was going to hit so I could hit the thrift on Friday. I was rewarded with seven Pyrex casseroles (turquoise butterprint & snowflake!) so I was quite giddy.

So we were snowed in but were comfortable - we had heat, food, and cable. Because the roads were iced over, I worked from home today and might have to do that again tomorrow. Then it's supposed to be in the 60s Wed. - go figure! Thanks goodness our power didn't go out. We have a generator but what a pain. I love the deer vase! I can't tell you how much time I spent pinning vintage fawn/deer yesterday : )Ree Ceehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02159335266839347665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15117059.post-7194136909664552242017-01-09T20:28:35.531-06:002017-01-09T20:28:35.531-06:00I call him the "Walking Laundry Basket" ...I call him the "Walking Laundry Basket" because he wears socks, regular undies, long underwear, pants, long underwear shirt, tshirt, long sleeve tshirt, work shirt, sweatshirt and coat. These more when it gets really cold like gloves, hat, earmuffs and flannel lined jeans. You would think he would own a set of long underwear or something to keep him warm :) Pam Kesslerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14830005036551331029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15117059.post-87689288039957245802017-01-09T09:57:28.380-06:002017-01-09T09:57:28.380-06:00I am staying out of the thrifts for this month.
